What Sets This Year Apart

Tennessee Missing Children’s Day is returning in full force for 2025, marking its first full-scale observance since the COVID-19 pandemic necessitated scaled-back versions of the event in previous years.

The return to a full-scale, in-person event marks a significant milestone in bringing the community together once again to support families of missing children and strengthen advocacy efforts across the state.

For the first time, the event will welcome Casey Robinson, sister and aunt of Jennifer and Adrianna Wix, who disappeared from Roberston County in 2004. Her presence underscores the ongoing impact of cases of missing children on Tennessee families.

True crime podcast host Jules Thorp and her crew will be set up with a booth for their podcast “Missing in Hush Town,” which has dedicated multiple episodes to investigating the disappearance of Jennifer Wix and her 2-year-old daughter Adrianna, who vanished from Robertson County in 2004.

Thorp will conduct live podcast interviews during the event, featuring conversations with family members, law enforcement officials, and child safety advocates. These recordings will provide intimate insights into the ongoing challenges faced by families of missing children and highlight the collaborative efforts between communities and law enforcement in resolving these cases.

Representatives from the FBI are also expected to participate, pending final confirmation.

Raffle for Child Safety Awareness

New this year, the event will feature a charitable raffle to raise funds for advocacy efforts for missing children. Attendees can purchase tickets for a chance to win donated prizes from local businesses and community supporters. All proceeds will directly support The Bethany Markowski Foundation’s ongoing initiatives, including providing resources to families of missing children and funding awareness campaigns. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase throughout the event, with winners announced during the closing ceremony.
