Premieres October 22, 2025 • Produced by Fire Eyes Media and Momcast Productions
A gripping new chapter in the search for truth begins this fall. Missing in Hush Town returns for its highly anticipated second season—this time focusing on the chilling, unsolved case of 11-year-old Bethany Markowski, who vanished from Jackson, Tennessee in 2001. While the first season was produced by AnnLee Audio House, Season 2 is now under the direction of Momcast Productions, with continued collaboration from Fire Eyes Media, ensuring the same powerful storytelling and deep investigative work the series is known for.
Premiering October 22, 2025, and hosted by true crime journalist Jules Thorp, Season 2 will uncover new details, explore leads long ignored, and amplify the voices fighting to bring Bethany home. In collaboration with Fire Eyes Media—co-founded by Thorp and documentarian Jen Rivera—this season will be part podcast, part behind-the-scenes documentary, revealing the painstaking research, interviews, and investigative steps it takes to make these stories heard.
“We’ve uncovered information no one has heard before,” writes Momcast Productions. “We’re only going to get louder. We’re only going to talk to more people.”
The investigation began over a year ago, with the team conducting their first interviews in November 2024. Since then, Fire Eyes Media & Momcast Productions have remained embedded with Bethany’s family, advocates, and community leaders.
Support That Goes Beyond the Mic
What makes Missing in Hush Town Season 2 especially powerful is its commitment to direct impact: 10% of all profits from the show will be donated directly to Bethany’s family.
This partnership also builds on existing support—both Jules Thorp and co-producer Casey Robinson served as guest speakers at the 2025 Tennessee Missing Children’s Day event and have been steadfast supporters of the cause.
Standing With the Wix Family
The release also comes as the production team advocates for justice in the case of Jennifer and Adrianna Wix, missing since 2004. The courts of Robertson County, TN, recently declared both mother and daughter legally deceased—21 years after their disappearance.
To raise funds for ongoing legal battles in the Wix case, Fire Eyes Media is co-hosting the Wix Warrior 5K: Run for Justice in partnership with Small Town Startup. The race ends symbolically at the Robertson County Courthouse, sending a message that the pursuit of justice will not go quietly.
